Because we are a small facility, we don't have room to keep a lot of dogs, so we look for foster homes.  If you are considering a dog from the Humane Society, this would be an excellent way to test drive to see if the animal suits your situation.  And if you don't want an animal permanently but have room in your heart and home to give this animal some much deserved attention and love until it finds it's forever home, it would be greatly appreciated by the society.

Urgent   June 4 to Jume 7 temporary homes needed.  Urgent!

Here is a story and a half.  These 8 puppies were found at the OCN dump, two months ago.  2 died instantly, then 4 more couldn't be saved.  Here are the two survivors.  Cody, the female Husky looking dog couldn't even walk when she was rescued.  Goofy who is a very strong male, is her brother.  Both need forever homes.  Cody knows commands like sit and stuff like that, but there is something about Goofy and his big clumsiness and the fact that he only responds to sit when there is a dog bone involved,  makes you want to love him.   Both dogs have their merits. They haven't been officially put into the Humane Society Directory yet.  But they have been dewormed, but haven't gone through all the "official" stuff.  But I thought it would be important to get their pics out now so that they can be adopted while they are young.  At present June 2 they are 4 months old.

Here are the monkeys!

Smart as a whip, and she obviously has some Husky in her.

Ok, bad picture out of focus.  But this describes Goofy.  This dog has heart.  Very loving.  But very big!

This little ragamuffin looks like she just came out of the washing machine.  But yet, you look into her eyes....they are so clear they are almost white.  But then she has attitude, she was playing with the big dogs.  The foster mom says that when one dog "plays" with her, she is intimidated.  But when the two pups are rumbling, she jumps in and she gives back what they gave to her.

Please watch this video.  All three dogs need loving homes.  The foster mom cannot bear to see any of these dogs be neglected anymore, but she wants them to have the forever homes they deserve.  Please help if you can, these are innocent little babies, they don't deserve what they have already gone through.
